Charlotte FC Players on International Duty in September and October

Charlotte FC will be represented by four different players during the September 21-October 6 international break.

Liel Abada and Idan Toklomati (Israel), Rodolfo Aloko (Benin) and Andrew Johnson (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) were called up by their respective nations for the upcoming break. Crown Legacy FC goalkeeper Jahiem Wickham also received a call-up for Trinidad and Tobago.

Abada and Toklomati will compete in the UEFA Nations League while Johnson and Wickham will compete in different leagues in the CONCACAF Nations League. Aloko will try to help Benin secure a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations for the second consecutive year.

Below you can find details of when each player plays and who they’ll be playing. The result will be updated with the score and how the respective player did following each game.

September 24

Austria 3 - Israel 1

Abada came on in the 85th minute to play in the central CAM spot in Israel's 4-2-3-1 formation. Toklomati did not appear in the match.

Austria scored twice in the 90th minute and after to secure the 3-1 win in the opening match for Israel.

Haiti 3 - Trinidad and Tobago 2

Wickham did not appear in the match.

September 25

Benin 1 - Burkina Faso 1

Aloko started at CDM for Benin before being subbed off in the 80th minute. Aloko recorded a shot in the 63rd minute that just flew over the top of the goal, a shot that would've equalized the match.

September 26

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 2 - French Guiana 1

Johnson started at left center back for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, playing 77 minutes. He finished with a 96 percent pass completion rate, completing 44 of 46 passes. Johnson also recorded a blocked shot and an interception in the win.

September 27

Ireland 3 - Israel 0

Toklomati came into the match in the 64th minute, playing in the right striker position. He made an instant impact, setting up Manor Solomon in the center of the box only for the shot to miss high in the 65th minute. Toklomati finished the game completing all five passes he attempted and winning both of his ground duels. Abada did not appear in the match after coming on as a substitute in Israel's first Nations League game.

Dominican Republic 2 - Trinidad and Tobago 1

Wickham did not appear in the match.

September 29

Benin 2 vs. Mauritania 1

Aloko started at left wing for Benin, scoring both goals as they beat Mauritania to lead the group through the first two games. 

His first goal came in the 31st minute as he unleashed a shot from outside the box, beating the keeper. He doubled Benin's lead in the 46th minute with a tap-in from the top of the six-yard box.

Aloko finished the match with three shots, leading Benin in the category while also making three tackles and being involved in beyond just the attacking third.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 1 - Belize 0

Johnson played 70 minutes for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, starting at right center back. He scored what would become the game-winning goal in the 10th minute on a header coming from a corner kick. He added another shot on target as well as helping Saint Vincent and the Grenadines keep their first clean sheet of the tournament.

October 1

Israel 0 - Kosovo 0

Abada started for Israel at the right striker position, playing 69 minutes before being subbed off. He recorded a shot and completed 20 of his 21 passes. Toklomati did not appear in the match.

Curaçao 1 - Trinidad and Tobago 0

Wickham did not appear in the match.

October 3

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 4 - Saint Maarten 2

Johnson started at right center back in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines'  win. He played 66 minutes before being subbed off. Johnson finished the game with a 97 percent pass completion rate, completing 33 of 34 passes. He added a tackle and a blocked shot.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is currently first in their group with nine points and three games left in the group stage.

October 4

Israel 1 - Ireland 1

Abada started at right wingback for Israel, playing 72 minutes. He finished with two shots, a blocked shot and an interception. His sole shot on target came in the 54th minute from the inside of the box, being saved by the goalkeeper. He completed 82 percent of his passes in the match. Toklomati did not appear in the match.

Israel has two points with two matches left that will take place during November's international break and is in threat of playing in a relegation playoff if they can't finish in third or higher.

Trinidad and Tobago 1 - Curaçao 1

Wickham did not appear in the match.

With the loss, Trinidad and Tobago will have to play their way into the 2027 Gold Cup via a play-in and will be relegated to League B of the CONCACAF Nations League for the next iteration of the competition in 2028-29.

October 6

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 4 - Saint Maarten 0

Johnson played the entire match for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the right center back spot. He completed the most passes for the team, completing 43 of his 51 passes. He had a blocked shot as well as an interception.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines lead their group with 12 points with two games left to play. If they come in first, they will be promoted to League A and qualify for the Gold Cup for the second time in the nation's history. Winning the group also advances Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the semi-finals for League B.

Argentina 3 - Benin 0

Aloko played in 90 minutes of the match before being subbed out in the 90+1 minute mark of Lionel Messi's final international match. 

Aloko finished with seven successful passes in Benin's loss.
